Cecilia Alemani will curate the Italian Pavilion at the 57th La Biennale di Venezia
“Cecilia Alemani will be the curator of the Italian Pavilion at the 57th Venice International Art Exhibition of 2017”. The Minister of Heritage, Culture and Tourism, Dario Franceschini stated that the name of Alemani has been identified after a selection of ten representative names of the national art.
The project was chosen by the Minister as part of the triad proposed by the Directorate-General for contemporary art and architecture and urban peripheries. Among the ten proposals, all very attentive to the more advanced international artistic trends, Alemani’s project focuses on a limited group of artists who will be given space to present their works and investigate their creative universes.
