Frances Morris will be the new director of Tate Modern, replacing Chris Dercon

Frances Morris has been appointed as the new director of the Tate Modern, replacing Chris Dercon who has been appointed director of Volksbühne Theater (Berlin) and will start covering his new role in 2017.

Morris joined Tate in 1987 as a curator, having covered different roles, before being nominated director she was the Director of Collection, International Art.
