French dealer Emmanuel Perrotin is expanding his empire in Asia. The new space  is a 130-square-meter gallery in Tokyo, due to open in spring 2017. Together with the two new branches in Seoul and Korea, this will be Perrotin’s third space in Asia.

The new space will be located in the heart of Roppongi, Tokyo’s cultural and lively neighborhood, on the ground floor of the Piramide Building. It will join leading museums and prominent galleries in the area, such as the Mori Art Museum, Suntory Museum of Art, and the National Art Center (which are together called “Art Triangle Roppongi”). The space is currently being revamped and redesigned by renowned inventive architect André Fu/AFSO, who previously conceived Perrotin’s space in Hong Kong in 2012.
