Gallery Weekend Berlin

Each spring, a maximum of 55 Berlin galleries open exhibitions by emerging and established artists during “Gallery Weekend Berlin,” welcoming numerous visitors from around the world to the city. Founded in 2005 by a cooperative of Berlin galleries, it has established itself as a highlight of the international art calendar.

“Gallery Weekend” celebrates galleries and artists within this unique format that provides high-calibre exhibitions and an unparalleled experience of Berlin and its gallery spaces.

“Gallery Weekend Berlin” is a private initiative of Berlin galleries and is organized and implemented by abc gwb UG (limited liability). Participation is only possible upon invitation by Gallery Weekend Berlin. The members of the board (currently: Jörn Bötnagel, Philomene Magers, Jochen Meyer, Bärbel Trautwein, and Nadine Zeidler) run Gallery Weekend along with the management.
