For its 2021 edition, the Harlem Fine Arts Show goes online, featuring more than 60 black artists from the African diaspora in a virtual exhibition on HFAS‘s website. On view, pieces by internationally renowned artists such as Romare Bearden, Charles White, and Jacob Lawrence, along with emerging ones.

Founded in 2009, the yearly fair celebrates the heritage of modern and contemporary African diasporic art; it is also a leading platform for discovering and displaying new black talents. As an event deeply rooted in the local communities and based on a network of artists, collectors, viewers, and other professionals, it usually travels throughout the U.S. over its entire duration.

This year, due to the impossibility to travel, the fair debuted its new five-month-long virtual version, where visitors will access high-resolution 3D renderings. A collateral programme of talks, panels, and more activities will also be available. important
