The Southbank Centre is due to open a new exhibition showcasing artworks produced in the UK’s prisons, secure hospitals and immigration removal centre.
To curate this show, renowned British artist Antony Gormley has been asked to respond to the theme “Inside” and selected over 7,000 pieces of fine art, design, writing and music entered to this year’s Koestler Awards.
“Inside: Art by offenders, secure patients and detainees” opens at the Spirit Level of the Southbank Centre’s Royal Festival Hall, London, from September 21 – Wednesday November 15, 2017.
