The König Gallery opens another branch in Wien, whose director is Katharina Abpurg, and it hosts the exhibition “One decade of Female Sculptors”.

For the opening of the new venue, the gallery will house a collection of sculptures that brings together the work of thirty contemporary women artists who offer a new, all-female vision of the art world, which has always been considered a male domain.

The selected artists have made a significant contribution to the sculpture environment over the past decade. “One decade of Female Sculptors” demonstrates that sculpture is one of the most layered and exciting art forms today.

The exhibition also aims to encourage new discussions about the significance of the production of women artists.
