New Format for Frieze London and Frieze Masters 2020
Frieze announces a new format for the upcoming editions of Frieze London and Frieze Masters this October, featuring an innovative hybrid programme of online and offline events.
The second edition of Frieze Viewing Room will feature over 200 galleries, introducing new developments including Live Chat to compliment its already highly acclaimed augmented reality (AR) capabilities. The digital platform will be live from 9 to 16 October 2020, with Preview Days on 7th and 8th October.
The digital edition of the fairs will present curated sections, such as Spotlight the critically acclaimed Frieze Masters section by Laura Hoptman; Possessions a new section led by Zoe Whitley; and Focus highlightin
Frieze Sculpture physically returns once again to Regent’s Park from the 5th to 18th October including works by Lubaina Himid, Richard Long and Rebecca Warren, among others.
On October 5th Frieze Week will celebrate the vibrant art scene in London with special events taking place across local galleries, museums and partner organisations.
Curated for the first time by Victor Wang (王宗孚) LIVE, Frieze London’s programme dedicated to live art, will take place at 9 Cork Street throughout Frieze Week with a series of live and online performances by artists and guests.
