Nomad chooses an exclusive location in the heart of the Mediterranean

July 6, 2022

Nomad is an out-of-the-ordinary art and collectible design fair. From 2017, the year of its debut, to date it has been hosted by Monaco, Sankt Moritz, Venice and Cannes (for one edition, however, a virtual one); this year’s host venue is Capri. Nomad avoids the traditional format of these kinds of events, which gather large numbers of visitors in exhibition halls, by turning it upside down: sensational venues, super-selected audiences. The experience thus becomes radically different, a moment of exchange, conviviality and discovery.

There are 11 participating galleries from all over the world (London, New York, Shanghai, Naples, Piacenza, Mexico City…) joined by ten special projects. Among them: “Coralia” by Draga & Aurel + Rossana Orlandi, “Hand Written Stories” by Hans Ulrich Obrist and Patricia Urquiola (curated by Gianluigi Ricuperati, powered by Aspesi), “Genetic variations” by Christian Pellizzari, “Every angel has its scary side” by Julian Schnabel, presented by Marco Voena and Cy Schnabel.
