The Bonotto delle Tezze estate presents the third edition of “Officina Malanotte”, an initiative that combines contemporary art, enological research, and cultural revitalization of the territory in the heart of the Treviso countryside, in Tezze di Piave. This initiative includes an artist residency, an exhibition, and meetings open to the public.

Curated by Daniele Capra, the first part of the program begins on Monday, May 20, 2024, in the form of a three-week artist residency – open studio. As per tradition, this year the project will again take place within the Bonotto delle Tezze estate, whose winery, driven by passion and a constant dedication to research, has carried on the winemaking activities of the Bonotto family for several generations.

Until June 7, 2024, four artists – Paolo Pretolani, Fabrizio Prevedello, Eleonora Rinaldi, and Giorgia Severi – will find in the estate’s spaces a place for creative production and a starting point for establishing artistic and human connections with local activities and the community of Marca Trevigiana, in harmony with the territory.

To make the connection with the rhythms of local life even more intense, the artists will stay in the village in the building historically used by the Sisters of Divina Volontà from 1914 to 2020, who managed the “Divina Provvidenza” Kindergarten for 106 years. The results of the residency will be presented to the public in an exhibition from June 8 to July 7 (opening on Friday, June 7 at 6:30 PM).

Inevitably, wine tasting is an integral part of the residency. This year, it creates opportunities to toast with a special selection of 200 “officina” bottles, produced for the occasion and featuring a label designed specifically for the 2024 edition of Officina Malanotte.
