Palazzo Grassi – Punta della Dogana presents a cycle of online conversations “Bruce Nauman Archive for the Future”

Every week a video-talk with the curators Carlos Basualdo and Caroline Bourgeois will be uploaded on the YouTube channel and on the Palazzo Grassi website. Conceived as an oral extension of the exhibition project, this series of conversations involves artists, choreographers, art historians, performers and musicians invited to share their personal point of view on Nauman’s work, his influence on theirs and its legacy.

The order in which the videos will be uploaded has been determined using chance procedures, in recognition of Nauman’s sustained engagement and admiration for the work of the musician John Cage: Philippe Parreno (artist), Anne Imhof (artist), Boris Charmatz (dancer and choregrapher), Paul Maheke (performer), Élisabeth Lebovici (art historian), Ralph Lemon (performer), Tatiana Trouvé (artist), Teodor Currentzis (conductor), Lenio Kaklea (dancer and choregrapher), Elisabetta Benassi (artist) and Nairy Baghramian (artist).
