Paris Gallery Weekend 2025
Paris Gallery Weekend 2025: A Three-Day Celebration of Contemporary Art
77 Galleries – 150 Artists – 1 City
The 2025 edition of Paris Gallery Weekend takes place on 23–25 May, bringing together 77 galleries across Paris and Greater Paris. Organised by the Comité Professionnel des Galeries d’Art (CPGA), the event has, for over a decade, celebrated modern and contemporary art through a festive programme of exhibitions, open gallery visits, and curated itineraries.
What’s New in 2025: “Zooms” & Expanded Routes
This year introduces “Zooms” – thematic routes that guide visitors through exhibitions focusing on photography, drawing, women artists, modern art, or the emerging scene. The event’s geographical itineraries span iconic art districts such as Le Marais, Saint-Germain-des-Prés, Belleville to Romainville, and Matignon, offering both familiar routes and opportunities to explore new areas.
A Citywide Art Experience
Paris Gallery Weekend transforms the city into an open-air fair. Over three days, galleries open their doors to showcase nearly 150 artists through solo and group exhibitions. All events are free and open to the public, with maps, interactive tools, and updates available via the website and social media.
Guided Tours & Public Programmes
Building on the success of previous editions, CPGA and its partners will once again offer guided tours across different districts. The 2024 edition drew a record 15,000 visitors, with all tours fully booked.
Carte Blanche & Ambassadors
Returning in 2025, the Carte Blanche programme gives galleries the opportunity to invite a guest—be it an artist, curator, or cultural figure—to co-curate an exhibition or special event.
A panel of ambassadors from the art world—including critics, curators, and collectors—share their personal selections, offering unique perspectives and highlighting the role of galleries in supporting artistic creation. This year’s ambassadors include Fanny Robin, Chris Cyrille-Isaac, Anaël Pigeat, Audrey Guttman, Daria de Beauvais, Alexia Guggemos, Aurélie Deplus, and Hugo Spini.
Events Calendar
Throughout the weekend, galleries host vernissages, performances, talks, book signings, and workshops, including dedicated programming for children and families.
All participating galleries are listed on the interactive map available online, and in the printed programme (12,000 copies), distributed in galleries and partner institutions.
