Paris Photo New York 2020

April 2, 2020

126 galleries and 47 editors from 24 countries will be the protagonists of the first edition of Paris Photo New York, the most important international photographic fair born in Paris more than twenty years ago. The fair is launching its new art space in Pier 94, New York, from April 2 – 5, 2020.

Collaborating with AIPAD, the Association of International Photography Art Dealers, the fair aims at creating a photographic journey through past and future, displaying the works of both renowned and emerging artists, and therefore offering an exhaustive and dynamic overview on the field of contemporary photography. Further attention will be given to the world of publishing, with 47 exhibiting spaces.

Amongst the most sought-after sections of the fair, “[RE] Emergence”, whose curatorship has been entrusted with art critic Antwaun Sargent. The programme also features solo exhibitions dedicated to 15 artists, including Gregory Halpern, Joel Sternfeld, Bastiaan Woudt, Mario Cravo Neto, Bob Gruen, and Sofia Valentine, among the others.

Paris Photo New York will also exhibit works by important Italian artists, like Federico Luger (Milan), Paci (Brescia), Metronom (Modena), Spazio Nuovo (Rome), L’Artiere (Bentivoglio), and Skinnerboox (Jesi), the latest two taking part in the publishing sector.
