Sapore di Mare

This summer, the Venice-based contemporary art studio Mare Karina collaborates with Sapore di Mare Festival. Sapore di Mare is a contemporary art festival that has taken place since 2021 during the first week of July on the beach of Forte Dei Marmi, Tuscany. Founded by Victoria Genzini and hosted by Bagno Alle Boe, the festival features a public program of talks with curators, collectors, and artist residencies; an exhibition on the beach; and a series of workshops for children led by artists and designers.

Last weekend saw the 4th edition of the festival on the Versilian seaside, produced by Mare Karina and powered by Kartell. This year’s programming was enhanced by an additional fashion moment: a sunset catwalk by the Milanese brand Lessico Familiare.

Join the inaugural event Saturday, 13th July, from 18:00 to 20:00 at Mare Karina,  for a curated selection of Italian and international artists’ photography posters, a showcase of Italian design brands, a library of photo books, music, and drinks. Running until the 25th of August, the exhibition acts as a vetrine for the festival’s large pool of creative collaborators, with additional participation by Venice-based artists and brands.
