Sarah Cosulich Steps Down as Director of Artissima

The commission of international experts chosen by the museums foundation has just selected Ilaria Bonacossa, instead of the established director Sarah Cosulich, as new director of the international art fair Artissima.
Ilaria Bonacossa is the Artistic Director of the Museo Civico di Arte Contemporanea Villa Croce in Genoa since 2012 and member of the Curatorial Board of the PAC Milan. She worked as senior curator at the Sandretto Re Rebaudengo in Turin from 2003 to 2008 while in 2007 she was a member of the Golden Lion jury at the Venice Biennial and is a member of the acquisition committee of the FRAC PACA Gallery in Marseille. In 2013 she curated the Icelandic pavilion at the Venice Biennale presenting the works of Katrin Sigurdardottir.
