South Island Art Day on 22nd of September

Occurring on next 22nd of September, the 4th edition of Art Day at South Island, organised every two years by the South Island Cultural District (SICD), will be enriched thanks to the new partnership of the SICD with Hong Kong Art Gallery Association (HKAGA) to co-direct the event.

The 2018 edition will see the participation of thirteen art spaces, open as usual to international collectors, curators and local enthusiasts. The programme of Art Day 2018 will give the chance to the participating audiences to experience exhibition openings, artists’ talks, performances and guided tours around the city of Hong Kong, and will be complemented by a kids corner, with specific activities for the younger guests.

This year will constitute a milestone in the development of the South Island Cultural District, also thanks to the newly opened MTR South Island Line, marking a step in a renewed expansion of SICD as the leading arts district in Hong Kong.
