SP-Foto in São Paulo Reaches its 13th Edition

The 13th SP-Foto – Photography Fair of São Paulo brings together main galleries, publishers and museums to promote photography in the country. Among the 43 exhibitors, Fortes D’Aloia & Gabriel, Mendes Wood DM, Red, Mario Cohen, Silvia Cintra + Box 4, Luciana Caravello, Luciana Brito Galeria, as well as houses specializing in vintage photography such as Folio, Utopia and the MaPa. New entries include Almeida and Dale + Leme / AD (São Paulo), Galería Zielinsky (Barcelona) and LAMB Arts (London, São Paulo).

The fair’s program also features various activities such as the Open Studios Circuit, Meet the Artists and the unprecedented partnership with Escrevedeira. In addition, the 13th SP-Foto intensifies international interest in Brazilian photography by inviting seven foreign experts linked to renowned institutions of contemporary art and photography. Curators Margot Norton (New Museum, USA), Barbara Tannenbaum (Cleveland Museum, USA) and Julieta González (Jumex, Mexico) thicken burning reflections on the world of photography in this edition’s Talks.
