TBA21 launches the second season of st_age, the digital platform dedicated to present new creative ideas at the time of the pandemic

The digital production platform st_age, by TBA21, launches its second season.

The platform was founded by TBA21 in the early stages of the COVID-19 lockdown in 2020 to support creative practices in an online place, where artists could complete projects interrupted because of the pandemic or present new creative ideas. st_age is a space to show these new works, with complementary podcasts, talks, and learning initiatives to further investigate the topics discussed.

In this new season, the programme revolves around medieval botanical erudition and witchcraft, which are still challenging patriarchal pharmacology, or animistic forms of weather forecasting, and discusses ancestral knowledge and forms of wisdom. 

The participating artists are: Claudia Comte, Abhishek Hazra, Alaa Mansour, Omar Mismar, Asunción Molinos Gordo, Courtney Desiree Morris, Tuan Andrew Nguyen, Diana Policarpo, and TAHE.
