The 22 Official Collateral Events of the 57th Venice Biennale

The Official Collateral events of this year’s Venice Biennale, promoted and organized by no-profit national and international museums and institutions, are held around the city of Venice in different venues, have been announced.

Highlights include an exhibition by Michelangelo Pistoletto in the Abbazia di San Giorgio, on the island right opposite San Marco which was home to Jaume Plensa’s works back in 2015. A display of works by Jan Fabre, produced between 1977 and 2017, at Abbazia di San Gregorio.

A solo show dedicated to Shirin Neshat‘s ouvre will take over the spaces of Museo Correr, where Jenny Holzer‘s solo show as held in 2015 and Samson Young represents Hong Kong this year with an exhibition titled “Songs for Disaster Relief”, held in Campo della Tana, right opposite the Arsenale’s entrance.
