The Austrian Pavilion at the Venice Art Biennale 2022 launched the exhibition’s official website

A year from now, Venice Art Biennale 2022 will open to the public.
In this context, artists Jakob Lena Knebl and Ashley Hans Scheirl will represent Austria in its national pavilion; in confirmation of that, the two launched yesterday the official website of the Austrian exhibition “Invitation of the Soft Machine and Her Angry Body Parts”.

The artists are working on a disruptive yet witty and joyful exhibition project that will discard the conventional roles in society to set up an original play. Jakob Lena Knebl and Ashley Hans Scheirl will mix up systems and produce hybrids that deal with the identities of styles, media, materiality, and movements throughout the history of art and design.
