The Venice Glass Week 2019: Details Announced

The Venice Glass Week presents its third edition (September 7-15, opening Sept 6), featuring a wide programme of over 180 initiatives in Venice, Murano and Mestre.

Highlights of this edition include the Murano Glass Weekend and the Bonhams Prize for The Venice Glass Week, an award for the most interesting project, sponsored by Bonhams auction house.

This year, the participants were selected by a scientific committee made up of Rosa Barovier Mentasti, curators Isabelle Rehier and Jean Blanchaert, journalist Uta Klotz and professor Marco Zito.

The first edition of NOMAD, a design traveling fair, will take place during the opening weekend of The Venice Glass Week, from 5 to 8 September at Palazzo Soranzo Van Axel.
