London-based dealer Timothy Taylor is expanding into the US with plans to open a space in New York this autumn. Taylor’s new gallery, which occupies the ground floor of a Chelsea townhouse, is called 16×34 after the dimensions of the space (measured in feet).

Timothy Taylor was founded in 1996 on Bruton Place, Mayfair. In 2003, the gallery relocated to a larger space at 24 Dering Street, W1 and continued to amass a strong UK and international client base. In October 2007, Timothy Taylor opened a new 5,000 square foot space in Carlos Place, Mayfair, designed by Eric Parry Architects. The gallery is located south of Grosvenor Square, and next to the Connaught Hotel.

Timothy Taylor represents 24 established and emerging artists and continues with an exciting, innovative and high profile programme of exhibitions.
