Venice Art Week 2022

Venice Art Week is an event of international scope for collectors, curators, artists, enthusiasts, and professionals from the cultural and other sectors, dedicated exclusively to contemporary art.

Venice Art Week proposes a rich and diffuse programme of exhibitions, talks, convivial moments, itinerant initiatives with the artists and networks practices of cultural experimentation and creative aggregation, with the conviction that contemporary art can be the driving force behind cultural proposals propelling vitality and change, in the sign of an urban identity recognised for art at an international level, to be protected and enhanced.

Unprecedented perspectives on contemporary art open up to those who wish to enjoy the dynamic spirit of Venice’s female-dominated galleries, thanks to the complicity of public institutions such as Fondazione Bevilacqua La Masa and M9, which are predisposed to dialogue with independent spaces and other realities attentive to the cultural development of the territory.

The initiative intends to extend the project to a territorial dimension involving the entire Veneto region thanks to a parterre of widespread and coordinated initiatives.

Venice Art Week is coordinated by Cescot Veneto and the promotion of the initiative is co-supported by the Veneto Region POC.
