Venice Film Festival to Feature Three New Films by Contemporary Artists

Three leading contemporary artists are presenting their new films on the occasion of the 74th Venice Film Festival, running from August 30 to September 9, 2017.
Looking For Oum Kulthum, is the new film by the Iranian artist and director Shirin Neshat, and it will be screened as world premiere, at Giornate degli Autori-Venice Days.
The new documentary by Ai Weiwei, titeld Human Flow, will also be featured as premiere, among the 21 feature-length films selected for the international competition.
Included in the brand new VR section, hosted at the VR Theater on Lazzaretto Vecchio island, Laurie Anderson and Hsin-Chien Huang’s La Camera Insabbiata (The Sand Room) will be also presented.
