Promoted by the Council of Venice, and conceived and organised by Fondazione Musei Civici di Venezia, Le Stanze del Vetro – Fondazione Giorgio Cini, Istituto Veneto di Scienze, Lettere ed Arti and Consorzio Promovetro Murano, the first edition of Venice Glass Week is running September 10-17, 2017.

This is the city’s first international festival dedicated to the art of glass, involving many institutions in Venice, with the aim of revitalising and sustaining one of the city’s most important artistic and creative activities.

The program includes 140 events, spanning from exhibitions to conferences, screenings, educational activities, themed evenings, open furnaces and more, at a large number of locations around Venice and Murano.
