Word Body Art
The full screening of “Word Body Art” takes place from 4 to 6 December 2025 at puntozerovaleriaapicella, as part of the 5th edition of Art Days – Napoli Campania, “Voci dall’alveare”.
“Word Body Art” is a series of video portraits featuring national and international artists from different disciplines, conceived and created by Valeria Apicella. Each portrait is based on the same nine questions, through which participants reflect on their relationship with the body in their practices, visions, experiences and memories.
Launched in 2021 and still ongoing, the project currently includes 21 portraits, presented across three days in the form of a polyphonic installation.
For Art Days 2025, the programme includes:
Friday 5 December: a talk with artists and researchers on the theme “Not the artwork, but the artist’s body”;
Saturday 6 December: a space/body workshop open to the public.
