Zona Maco Announced the Exhibitors List of its Upcoming Edition
ZⓈONAMACO, Latin America’s art fair, introduces a partial list of selected exhibitors for its 2020 edition to take place from February 5 to 9 in Centro Citibanamex. For the first time, the fair presents in one same location modern and contemporary art, design, photography and antiques, gathering its four fairs (ZⓈONAMACO México Arte Contemporáneo, ZⓈONAMACO Diseño, ZⓈONAMACO Foto, and ZⓈONAMACO Salón) for ‘ZⓈONAMACO Art week.’
Zélika García–founder of ZⓈONAMACO–comments: “We are proud to inform that the four fairs from ZⓈONAMACO will take place simultaneously; we consider that it’s a great move to gather exhibitors recognized worldwide in one place so they can exhibit art, design, photography and antiques. This will be the first time we show Foro, a new section created to push “mid-career” galleries in ZⓈONAMACO México Arte Contemporáneo.”
Also, Tania Ragasol–Artistic Director of the fair–points out that: “Curators and members of the selection committee are an essential part of this project, so we want to welcome everyone joining us for this 2020 edition, as well as those who are back with us. We are certain that we will have an amazing edition next February.”
As in every year, ZⓈONAMACO promises a broad conferences program given by internationally renowned guests that will cover current and art-related topics. Amongst some of the speakers in the program: Kate Fowle (Director of MoMA PS1), Olaf Breuning (Artist), William J. Simmons (Essayist, Poet, and Provost Fellow in the Humanities in the art history PhD program at the University of Southern California), Magalí Arriola (Director of Museo Tamayo) and Zoë Ryan (Curator of the Art Institute of Chicago).
