Zaha Hadid Dies at 65

Architect Dame Zaha Hadid, has died following a heart attack aged 65 in Miami, USA.
The British (Iraqi- born) architect e was the first woman to receive the Royal Institute of British Architects Gold Medal in recognition of her work in 2016.Born in Baghad, she studied maths at Beirut University before moving to London. In 1979 she founded her own company – Zaha Hadid Architects.
Her designs include MAXXI Museum in Rome, the London Acquatics Centre in Stratford built for the 2012 London Olympics and the Heydar Aliyev Cultural Center in Baku.
