Ángel Ricardo Ricardo Ríos
Ángel Ricardo Ricardo Ríos has been a resident of Mexico since 1991, where he currently lives and works. He graduated from the Instituto Superior de Arte in Havana (1989) and from the San Alejandro National Academy of Fine Arts in Cuba, where he earned a degree in Sculpture.
His work has been exhibited at various national and international institutions, including: the Museum of Contemporary Art of Querétaro (MACQ), the Museum of Oaxacan Painters, the University Museum of El Chopo, the Museum of Modern Art of Mexico, the Marrakesh Biennale, the Havana Biennial, as well as at art fairs such as ARCO, Art Chicago, and ZONA MACO. He has exhibited at galleries such as Fernando Pradilla and Ángel Romero (Spain); Nina Menocal, Gonzalo Méndez, Terreno Baldío, and Jesús Drexel (Mexico); Jacobo Karpio (Costa Rica); Juan Ruiz (USA); El Museo Gallery (Colombia); Servando Cabrera (Cuba); Doug Kacena Contemporary Art and Madison Gallery, San Diego (USA); as well as in Turkey and Costa Rica.
