Angie Saiz (Santiago, Chile. 1977) is a visual artist graduated from the Universidad de Chile with a degree in Fine Arts and Cinema. She works in the fields of photography, publishing, public intervention, video installation and sound art. Her work addresses aesthetic issues based on the biographical imaginary, the convergences and crisis between old and new technologies, as well as the concepts of trauma, limbo, and ruin. The artist has exhibited in important venues and galleries in Chile, such as MAC, Museo de Arte Contemporáneo; MAVI, Museo de Artes Visuales, and the Galería Metropolitana; and has carried out exhibitions, art residencies and curatorial works in Portugal, Italy, Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico, and the United States.
