Isabel Balzer

Isabel Balzer is a curator, writer, and gallerist based in Basel and Berlin. She holds a PhD in Art History from Northwestern University in Chicago and has taught and conducted research in the United States, Germany, and Switzerland. Her curatorial practice explores the intersections of art, politics, and aesthetics, with a focus on feminist and intergenerational perspectives. She oversees several artistic estates, including those of Vera Isler and Peggy Kleiber. In 2023, she founded the Basel-based gallery see you next tuesday and continues to work as an independent curator and advisor.
