Bari Kumar

Bari Kumar is a Los Angeles-based Indian artist. Born in 1966 in Vadaku, Andhra Pradesh, he moved to L.A. to study graphic design at Otis/Parsons Scool of Design and graduated in 1988. His paintings represent the emblematic merging of his bicultural experiences, as well as an interpretation of the European Renaissance and Hindu iconography. Kumar has held exhibitions internationally in London, New York, Mumbai, Los Angeles, Santa Monica, Berlin, Sydney, New Delhi, Seattle, amongst others.
