Agostino Bergamaschi (Milan, 1990) lives and works in Milan. His research explores the very principle of the creative act as a gesture that generates images and forms, identifying the point of collision between aesthetic experience and the origin of that gesture. Bergamaschi seeks a subtle and ordered imbalance between form and image, creating a weave of sensations and perceptions that unfolds into a true experiential dimension, in which the image is continuously made present in order to give rise to new imaginaries.

Selected exhibitions include: Darsena residency #2, Galleria Massimodeluca, Mestre–Venice, 2016; Rehearsal, YBP SPACE, Milan, 2016; Non esistono oggetti brutti, Galleria Bianconi, Milan, 2015; Out of Frames, MAC Museo d’Arte Contemporanea, Lissone, 2014; Anacronistica-mente, Ex Convento dell’Annunciata, Abbiategrasso (Milan), 2014; Giorni Felici, Casa Testori, Novate Milanese (Milan), 2014; Lo sguardo del contatto: proposta per un approccio all’esperienza estetica, Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera, Milan, 2013.
