Carlo Knöll

Carlo Knöll, born in 1988, founded the Galerie Knoell in 2010 in Basel, Switzerland. Galerie Knoell has a strong international focus with its continuous exhibition programme and participation at art fairs such as Art Basel, Frieze Masters, Art Geneva and Art Cologne.
The gallery specialises in historical artists like Max Bill, Verena Loewensberg, Meret Oppenheim, A.R. Penck, Jannis Kounellis, Cy Twombly and Alberto Giacometti. Carlo is a board member of the „Freunde des Kunstmuseums Basel“. He was instrumental in founding the „Kunsttage Basel“, that now took place for the second year in a row and serves as president of the foundation.
