Charlotte Colbert

Charlotte Colbert is a multimedia artist and award-winning filmmaker whose work explores the intersections of dream, mythology, identity and the unconscious. Described by the London Standard as “a natural born magician” and as “the lovechild of Salvador Dalí and Emily Dickinson”, Colbert has developed an internationally recognised practice spanning sculpture, installation, film and public art. Her debut feature film “She Will”, nominated for a British Independent Film Award, received international critical acclaim and won the Golden Leopard for Best First Feature. Her work has been presented in public spaces, galleries, fairs and institutions worldwide, including the V&A, the Egyptian Museum in Cairo, Montpellier Contemporain and Art Basel. She has collaborated with brands and institutions including Four Seasons Hotels, The Conran Shop and Alexander McQueen, and with artists and creatives such as Kate Nash, Isobel Waller-Bridge, Cillian Murphy and Bill Nighy. She is currently developing large-scale public art projects across Europe, the United States and the United Kingdom.
