Marco Chiandetti

Marco Chiandetti works across a broad variety of media and disciplines, including sculpture, drawing, performance and installation, often exploring a primary interest in the body, performative actions and their physical manifestations. Engaging in extensive research to inform his artistic practice, Chiandetti’s sculptural pieces and performances often address a fascination with the bodily engagement with physical matter and the traces that humans leave behind as they go about their lives. Evidence of human creativity and gestural signs of the body remain in objects, particularly those made by hand; physical manifestations of our existence after we are gone.
