Lives in Seoul, South Korea
Curator for the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, Korea, since 1999, he earned research studies at TATE Britain (GB) in 2005 and LACMA (U.S.A.) in 2011. Specialized in Korean contemporary painting and sculpture, has curated several projects such as Outdoor Project: Breathing Landscape(2019/MMCA Gwacheon), Cracks in the Concrete(2018/MMCA Gwacheon), Korea Artist Prize 2016(2016/MMCAm, Seoul), Hanjin Shipping Box Project: Do-Ho Suh, Uram Choi: Hidden Shadow of the Moon(Site Specific Art Project, 2013/MMCA Seoul), Who is Alice?(Collateral Evert of the 55th Venice Biennale, 2013/Venice, Italy), among others.
