Marina Dacci
Marina Dacci is a graduate of the University of Parma with studies in Literature, Art and, Pedagogy. Head of the Culture Office of the Municipality of Reggio Emilia and later general coordinator of the first edition of Fotografia Europea and the public art project Invito a, she has been working directly with artists including Sol LeWitt, Robert Morris, Luciano Fabro, Eliseo Mattiacci, and Richard Serra.
From October 2006 to December 2017, she was director of Collezione Maramotti, working with numerous national and international artists on specific commissions and publications. From 2008 to December 2018, she was also in charge of the Max Mara Art Prize for Women, in collaboration with the Whitechapel Gallery, London, for the six-month residency project in Italy and the related exhibition at Collezione Maramotti. Since February 2018, she has been a member of the Scientific Committee of the Fondazione Palazzo Magnani, for which she has also curated several exhibitions. She currently curates exhibitions in Italy and abroad, she is the author of texts and essays, and she edits publications for national and international artists.
