Dylan DeRose

Dylan DeRose is largely influenced by his upbringing in Orlando, Florida as well as by his father’s job at Muzak; DeRose’s formative years have a natural integration with the language of calculated fantasy.
With melancholic tones DeRose harnesses the power of objects, performance, or various other tools to generate provoking relationships that ambiguously exists between the polarities of superficial and authentic, and that address the power of symbols which attach to influential environments.
DeRose is a recent graduate of the Savannah College of Art and Design HK, and has exhibited frequently in both U.S.A and Hong Kong.
