Artistic Director of ZsONA MACO Art Fair
Direlia Lazo leads Mexico City’s premier art fair ZsONA MACO as Artistic Director, building on her role in the fair’s curatorial team since 2021. Her academic background includes a degree in Art History from Universidad de La Habana and a master from the de Appel Curatorial Programme, Amsterdam. Her career spans pivotal roles as Director of Exhibitions at Faena Art in Miami and Buenos Aires, curator at La Tallera in Mexico, and curatorial Mexico City Editorial Committee researcher for the IX Havana Biennial. As an independent curator collaborating with numerous institutions, artists, and galleries, she has founded platforms fostering transdisciplinary dialogue while contributing to major publications on Latin American Art.
