Elisabeth Johs

Elisabeth Johs is a curator and art advisor originally from Denmark. She has lived in London and New York and is currently based in Mexico City. In 2021, she founded JO-HS, an art residency and project space in Mexico City dedicated to showcasing emerging artists. In 2023, she opened a second JO-HS location in New York City.

Since 2018, Johs has curated independently. Her curatorial practice addresses contemporary social, human, and material challenges, combining creativity, communication, research, and innovation to form visually driven narratives.
