Aurora Fonda
Aurora Fonda, PhD in Art History, has focused her research on the development of contemporary art in Eastern European countries, particularly in the Balkans. She has curated several exhibitions of emerging artists and has been the curator of the Slovenian Pavilion at the Venice Biennale in 2001 and 2015. She has also curated solo exhibitions by Giorgio de Chirico, Lucio Fontana, Jannis Kounellis and Enzo Cucchi.
Since 2003, she has been running A plus A Gallery, and since 2004, the School for Curatorial Studies Venice.
