Galatea Ranzi
Galatea Ranzi is an Italian actress born in Rome in 1967. She graduated from the National Academy of Dramatic Art “Silvio d’Amico” in 1988. She has worked in numerous productions of the Piccolo Teatro of Milan, directed by Luca Ronconi. In 1988 she won the Ubu Award for Best Young Actress, as well as a special mention for the Eleonora Duse Award. Her film debut was in 1993, in “Fiorile” by the Taviani brothers; in the following years she alternates theatrical roles with cinematographic parts, and sometimes even with participation in television dramas. In 2012 she was awarded the Eleonora Duse Award and the following year she took part in the Oscar-winning film “La grande Bellezza” by Paolo Sorrentino. From March 2014 she starts acting in the soap opera “CentoVetrine” in the role of Emma Saint Germain.
