Gianfelice Rocca
Gianfelice Rocca is Chairman of the Techint Group, a global leader in steel, energy, and infrastructure, comprising Tenaris, Ternium, Tenova, Techint E&C, Tecpetrol, and Humanitas.
In the 1990s, he founded the IRCCS Istituto Clinico Humanitas, he also serves on the Boards of Bocconi University, the Leonardo da Vinci Museum of Science and Technology, and Brembo N.V.
He was Vice President of Confindustria (2004–2012), President of Assolombarda (2013–2017), and since 2020 has been Confindustria’s Special Advisor for Life Sciences. Internationally, he is Vice President of the Aspen Institute and serves on advisory boards of Harvard Business School and the European Round Table of Industrialists.
He chairs the Rocca Foundation and the Fratelli Agostino and Enrico Rocca Foundation, and since July 2024 has been President of the Fondazione Giorgio Cini. His honours include Cavaliere del Lavoro (2007), the Ambrogino d’Oro (1997), an honorary degree in Management Engineering from Politecnico di Milano (2009), and the Premio Leonardo (2010). In 2018, he was appointed Commendatore of the Italian Republic.
