Born in Hamburg, 1936
 
					German sculptor (Hamburg 1936 – New York 1970). Emigrated to the USA in 1939, taking her nationality in 1945, she trained first at the Pratt institute and the Art students’ league in New York, then at Yale University, with J. Albers (1959). Committed to overcoming the concept of separation between painting and sculpture, she created some of the most interesting and early expressions of conceptual art. His works can be found in New York, Guggenheim Museum, Museum of modern art; in London, Tate Gallery, etc.
