Jan Hendrix

Jan Hendrix (born 1949, Maasbree, the Netherlands) is a visual artist who studied at Ateliers 63 in Haarlem and the Jan van Eyck Academie in Maastricht. He has lived and worked in Mexico since 1978. His work has been exhibited in museums and galleries in Ireland, Cuba, Spain, Germany, the former Yugoslavia, France, Hungary, the Netherlands, Turkey, Australia, China, Finland and Mexico, among other countries, and forms part of numerous public and private collections.

Hendrix currently dedicates part of his practice to architectural collaborations, developing projects grounded in research on fractal composition.
