Johan Jervøe
In October 2013, UBS appointed Johan Jervøe as Group Chief Marketing Officer. Jervøe, a Danish national, joined UBS from Intel where he was global vice president of the Sales and Marketing Group and director of Partner Marketing, the area responsible for innovative programs which market Intel’s PC, smartphone and tablet businesses and for engagement with other major brands and media partners. Jervøe joined Intel in 2009 following a thirteen-year career with McDonald’s in the US and Europe. In his last role there, as corporate vice president of Global Marketing, he oversaw digital marketing technology and innovation, global entertainment and sports sponsorships. He also served as chief marketing officer of McDonald’s Germany, a position in which he led the team which originated the global ‘i’m lovin’ it’ brand campaign. Before joining McDonald’s in 1996, Jervøe was a brand manager at Kraft Jacobs Suchard and a consultant at Roland Berger in Vienna, Austria.–
