Wyatt Kahn
Wyatt Kahn (b. 1983, New York) is known for his investigations into the visual and spatial relationship between painting and sculpture. Working with unprimed canvases stretched over wooden frames, he constructs complex wall-mounted works in which the gaps between individual elements create abstract or pictorial compositions. Rather than drawing lines or shapes directly onto the canvas, Kahn transforms these gestures into physical components of the work itself, allowing form to emerge through structure.
