Daniel Knorr (b. 1968 Bucharest, Romania) lives and works in New York. From 1989 to 1995 he studied at the Akademie der Bildenden Künste in Munich and later at the Vermont College of Norwich University in Northfield, USA. The artist was awarded the 1999 Villa Romana Prize, Florence, and his works have been featured in numerous solo exhibitions, including the 2005 Romanian Pavillion at the 51st Venice Biennale. Knorr will be exhibiting at both the Triennale für Kleinplastik in Fellbach and the Moscow Biennial, Russia in 2007. He is currently represented by Serge Ziegler Galerie in New York.
