Maria Laet studied both in England and in Brazil. She participated in art residencies such as Schloß Balmoral (Bad Ems, Germany, 2009) and Residency Unlimited (New York, 2014) among others. She has exhibited her work individually in Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Paris, Lisbon and Milan.
